To make a great crossbow of this magnitude entails a lot of work but just a few materials. For the tip or point of the arrow, i cut a 5 1/4″ wide board to 8 1/2″ long and formed the point with two 40° cuts toward the center.

Another con is the arrow type restriction. Cutting boards are essential to have in your kitchen. It is so easy that you will be shocked.
Make all the cuts per the plans and sand all the boards smooth. But the see saw is a classic part of playground fun that should not be forgotten. Make pocket holes as needed per the plans.
