Avid Artist Mix Discontinued
September 29, 2021•
Since buying my avid setup in 2014 i have been fighting to get the three artist panels (control, color and mix) to work properly. Avid's artist mix is a professional personal studio console designed to be used independently or in conjunction with the artist control to give users more control over popular daw's and video edit applications.
So that leaves the avid mix as the only current artist series product still being sold with avid ending sales of the artist transport earlier this year.
Avid artist mix discontinued. Obviously would rather have an s1 but right now they go for $1300 and aren't on the used market left. Artist for avid mc expert required! 4.1 out of 5 stars.
And unsupportedyou need to register the device with avid to get the most recent driver. Is avid artist mix still worth it? Anyone know if that is likely to be a problem?
The avid artist mix control surface gives you full professional daw integration that is even affordable to the home musician. Artist control has been discontinued and replaced by avid dock, a compact control surface that accelerates mixing and editing tasks through deep tactile and touchscreen control. The avid artist mix control surface puts eight motorized faders and an array of programmable buttons and knobs at your command for maximum control over your daw in a small footprint.
The avid venue profile and mixrack systems will no longer sold from 31st july 2016 with the end of support on 31st july 2021. Control surface for pro tools and other daw and video software. Wondering if this is a decent deal or not.
I have a chance to get an artist mix for $300. I know they were just discontinued so have about 5 years left of support from avid. Avid artist | dnxio has been discontinued, but will be supported through march 2022 using the links below.
Avid have just updated their eos (end of support) hardware product document published on avid.com showing the new addition of the avid artist transport and its final sale date of 01/01/2016 and its end of support date as year end 2020. A$1250.00 +gst (aus 10%, nz 15%) I know s1 is a better product but.
It was the first mainstream controller that brought the eucon protocol to the masses and has proven to be a very popular device with pro tools users. The new ipad support is coming but i need faders. I feel it's a dying species.
Is anybody out there using the artist mix on sierra/high sierra? Avid artist transport from avid artist transport is a compact media controller that enables you to quickly navigate and edit projects with just one hand. The artist mix is very compact and fits easily between any monitor and keyboard for easy, portable access.
Also, the mc mix (which is still supported)as one oled not working. This means as of now the artist transport is no longer considered a current avid product and could well also mean no further development for its use will be. We will continue to provide support for artist control through june 30, 2021—get more details here.thank you for choosing avid—we appreciate your continued support.
Discontinued >>> select a$ or nz$ in dropdown above. I could buy used, yes, but this whole thing triggered some doubts: Get more media composer tips, tutorials, and info.
I wanted to buy an avid artist mix + transport but the transport has been discontinued early this year. The avid artist mix has been around for many years. Does it make any sense to buy the artist series at all right now?
